If you are re-taking the last chemistry test (naming formulas, writing compounds, and mole conversions), you need to see me to schedule a time to take the re-take.
The re-take will consist of the following:
- 5 writing formula questions (I give you the names, you write the formulas)
- 5 naming formula questions (I give you the formulas, you write the names of the compounds)
- 5 conversion problems (convert from number of particles to moles –or moles to number of particles; and convert from mass (grams) to moles — or moles to mass (grams))
You will have the following for your re-take:
- a periodic table
- the Naming Compounds Flowchart (know how to use it)
- one 3×5 index card with any notes that you would like to put on it
